JKTPO’s Presence at41stIndia International Trade Fair (IITF), Pragati Maidan

Trade Promotion Organization (JKTPO) has participated in 41stIndia
International Trade Fair (IITF), from 14-27November 2022 at Pragati Maidan, Delhi,
a flagship B2B& B2C eventorganized by Export Promotion Council for
Handicrafts (EPCH).
Jammu & Kashmir Pavilion is one of the
biggest attraction at IITF, showcasing the state’s culture, heritage and
handloom & handicraft and agriculture products as well as various
departments of the state.In line with the theme “Vocal for Local, Local to
Global” the exhibitors are promoting the uniqueness & strength of J&K
to the National & International visitors
J&K government departments/corporations
which includes Industries, Agricultural, Horticulture, JKI, JK Minerals, Handloom
& Handicraft Dev. Corp. etc. and 60 exhibitors including HAUSLA Women Entrepreneurs,
NGO & Societiesshowcased variety of unique and range of GI& other
products of J&K during the event viz. Pashmina Shawl, Paper Machie, Hand
knotted Carpets, Sozani work, Woollens, Walnut, Saffron, Honey made products
etc.
Exhibitors are receiving vary good response,
various B2B meetsare being conducted with national & international
visitors/buyers. Ample business leads are getting generated by the exhibitors
and expecting to generated good business out of it.

emphasized that showcase of J&K Handloom & Handicraft and Agriculture products
in such kind of big events help to improve overall business ecosystem of trade
and export in UT. He stressed on importance of promoting GI tagged authentic
handloom & Handicraft and agriculture products of J&K at national &
international level to curb the competition from unauthentic products.
